How to install and configure plesk Onyx on Centos 7

Plesk is second popular control panel in hosting industry after cPanel. Also its license costing offers various versions at various costs hence if you are looking for a server with the some budget in the mind then plesk panel beats the cPanel at any point. We will be installing plesk Onyx which is latest plesk version on the CentOS 7. Please always install plesk on the freshly installed CentOS which ensures that plesk does not conflicts with any other already installed packages on the server

Prerequisites:

  1. Freshly installed CentOS 7
  2. Root access to your server

How to install Plesk Onyx on Centos 7

Plesk provides one click installed shell scripts you can run below script as root user and Plesk will be installed on your server within 20 to 30 minutes.

sh <(curl https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer || wget -O - https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer)
 Once the installation process is completed you will see installation completion message on the shell.

Configure Plesk Onyx on Centos 7
Once plesk install you will get the link to access the plesk you can put that link in the browser and fill the information which is asked on the screen  you can select the view you want for your panel.
Select the panel view. I will be selecting the hosting provider view

Set the information like your server hostname your servers shared IP also set the admin password of the plesk panel
Fill the contact information for the administrator user and click on submit
Once you have filled the required details you will need to enter the license key for the plesk version you want to opt for
Add activation code of your key in the section and click on OK
I have a trial key for the web host edition so I have added that key in there and my plesk installation is completed
